Life4Paws
needs foster homes and donations. Because of home foreclosures
and economic difficulties, more and more people are coming to
Life4Paws with pets they can no longer take care of, which leaves
us with a constant need for more fosters.
Life4Paws is a non-profit that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters
across Los Angeles and other hazardous situations. Life4Paws uses
a fostering system that allows us to get to know the personalities
of our dogs so we can help adopters find the dog that fits them
and their homes best. This also makes the transition into their
forever homes a smooth one, because the dogs are already used
to home life. All approved medical expenses, leashes, collars
and even food for the foster dog are covered by the rescue.

Westie
Rescue of Orange County & Beyond (WROC) was founded in the
summer of 2008 by a group of dedicated volunteers. We would not
be able to continue this important work without our network of volunteers,
foster families, supporters and our adopters that have opened their
hearts to a rescued Westie. Due to the influx of rescues entering
our program, we are in desperate need of volunteers and foster homes.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at www.westierescueoc.com.
WROC participates in community events. We depend upon fund raising
events and donations to continue our rescue, veterinary care, and
rehabilitation. If you would like to donate, please contact us at
www.westierescueoc.com. Thank you! |

k9 connection
is always in need of qualified foster homes for the shelter dogs
that have graduated from the k9 program, but have not yet been
adopted. These dogs eventually run out of time to stay at the
shelter.
k9 connection needs temporary homes to keep these canine graduates
while our volunteer staff continue to show them at adoption events,
network for their adoption and transport them to our program if
they are able to continue participating.
k9 connection pays all medical expenses and provides all necessary
supplies. k9 dogs are all temperament tested, spayed or neutered
and have all their shots. They have learned basic obedience in
the k9 connection program.
DOGS ADOPTED AFTER BEING FOSTERED ARE 95% MORE LIKELY TO STAY
IN THEIR NEW HOME.
